We like to call ourselves the Anderson Adventure Pack because that’s what you’ll find us doing most! From hiking, fly fishing, snowshoeing, paddle boarding and gardening, to backcountry camping, roof-top tenting and refinished vintage trailer living, we are here for the outdoor adventures, exploring the Canadian Rocky Mountains with our two rescue pups.
We always bring our adventurous spirit to all our adventure sessions, elopements and intimate weddings. We absolutely love capturing couples in their element, wherever that may be, doing what they love! We can’t wait to explore new places, make memories, and help capture you and your partner together. We are so excited to candidly document your love story!

More about us and our own love story...
We met briefly in 2015, but didn’t reconnect again until summer 2016 at a music festival, and began dating shortly after. We adopted Whisky in 2018, Jared “popped” the question with a Ring-Pop (yes, a Ring-Pop!) at the end of 2019, and then we had a secret, intimate backpacking elopement in summer 2020 on our four year anniversary, in the middle of a pandemic!
We spent our honeymoon week backpacking, trailer camping, and hiking and fishing in our favourite places in Alberta. After eloping, we decided another pup needed to be added to the family, so we adopted Echo to complete our adventure pack at the end of 2020.
We call Rural Mountain View County home, and are just outside a small hamlet located north west of Cochrane, Alberta. We recently bought an acreage and are working hard to bring our homesteading dreams to life.
We share our love for adventuring together with Whisky and Echo in wild places, and love documenting our family adventures. Our love and passion for photography and videography started before we met, Jared focusing more on wildlife and landscapes, and Taffin more on portraiture, but we have come together and blended our creative styles to create Wandering Pine Co.
We are passionate outdoor enthusiasts, and are always down for an adventure! We want to capture you and your partner doing what you love in the most magical places you can imagine. Whether that be hiking a mountain, walking along the shoreline of a lake, or dancing in the rain, we want to capture it all. We strive to not only make your day all about you, but to document the special narrative of your adventure so that you can look back on it and smile. We want you to remember these memories for a lifetime, and say, “we did that!”.
